Dvornik Eco Farm

The Dvornik organic farm is located in the mountain village of Šentanel above Prevalje at an altitude of 800 meters, offering magnificent views. Damijan Smolak and Erika Mubi are always smiling, full of new ideas, and confident in what they do. They supplement the production of organic vegetables, grains, and fruit with the production of homemade organic pasta from homemade flour, baking bread and cookies, beverages, and a farm museum. Locals like to shop there because good taste and quality are always guaranteed.

Dobernik Farm

The Dobernik dairy farm is located in the sunny part of Prevalje, in Prisoje. It is a family farm where father Damijan Kordež, mother Valentina, daughter Julija, and son Luka take care of 26 dairy cows and cultivate 35 hectares of land. Their milk and homemade dairy products, several of which have won the Dobrote slovenskih kmetij (Delicacies of Slovenian Farms) award, are well known among the locals. Their dairy products are distinguished by their freshness and rich homemade taste.

Hudobnik Farm

The Hudobnik farm is located high above Prevalje, offering a magnificent view of Peca and Uršlja. On herb beds, meadows, and forest edges, Tatjana Ladinek carefully picks and naturally dries herbs, which are used to make homemade herbal teas, natural ointments, soaps, and herbal salt. Tatjana’s positive energy is contagious. She enthusiastically tries out new combinations and ideas, which are reflected in a colorful range of natural products for care and well-being. The quality of her products is also confirmed by Slovenian Handicraft certificates.

Zvonik Organic Farm

The eco-friendly Zvonik farm is located on the slopes of Strojna, 650 meters above sea level in Jamnica. Tadej Pačnik and Zulejka Javeršek embody the openness and creativity that permeates the entire farm. Tadej likes to experiment with farming. Zulejka is a blogger and author of the recipe book Uglašena kuhinja – Vse leto (Harmonious Cuisine – All Year Round). She takes care of everything that is beautiful and inspiring: she mixes excellent teas and the crunchiest granolas, in which home-grown grains shine in a whole new way. Together with Tadej, she bakes spelt bread with sourdough starter.

Cake Away

Behind the name Cake Away is Mateja, a romantic dreamer who loves nothing more than creating cakes and desserts. That’s why she adores her job and is very grateful to be able to do work that brings her so much joy. In addition to creating desserts, she also loves to travel and discover the flavors of other cultures. Her passion for desserts dates back to her childhood. She always loved helping her mother in the kitchen, where they would prepare various desserts together on weekends. Eight years ago, she baked her first cake. As she received a lot of praise, she continued to bake cakes for all future celebrations and gatherings. The number of cakes and desserts she prepared for her loved ones grew, so in 2020 she decided to strike out on her own under the name Cake away.

Cake Away is a boutique studio where Mateja creates custom cakes and desserts. All of her desserts are made from high-quality ingredients. Mateja strives to accommodate all wishes and ideas, as what matters most to her is making the lives of others sweeter and more beautiful. She says that her own life is very sweet—sweeter every day.
